New Herbal Hair Vinegar Rinse July 17, 2015 14:53

Coming very soon are my herbal hair vinegar rinses. 3 to choose from, basil & lavender, nutmeg & tangerine, lemongrass pink grape fruit & tea tree. They come in a 2oz bottle. This formula I have created in a "concentrate" so you will only be using 1 tablespoon at a time when you mix it up with water. I use apple cider vinegar and infuse it with many herbs for 4 to 6 weeks. Once it is infused then I strain it and add essential oils.

For those who are unfamiliar with a vinegar rinse, they are especially good for oily hair, and for treating fungal infection, itchy scalp, help control dandruff and over alkaline conditions. They help remove soap residue and make the hair softer and easier to detangle. If you have very dry hair hair herbal vinegars may not be for you.

Here's how I do it. I mix 1 tablespoon of the herbal vinegar in 1 cup of water. I pour it into a spray bottle and keep this in my shower so it is ready when I need to use it. When that time comes around, which is usually about every 2 weeks or so, I shampoo my hair and rinse. Then I shake up my herbal vinegar and spray, spray, spray. I saturate my hair from roots to ends leave on for a few minutes and rinse with plain water and that is it. Yes it does detangle and it also makes your hair very soft and shiny.

These herbal vinegars can also be used as an excellent facial astringent when they are diluted with water. -
