New soaps are coming! July 18, 2015 12:25
Good news for all the soap lovers out there. I have finally made a few new batches of soap between all of the home canning and preserving. Boy, this summer has been busy.
Okay so here's what has been made.
Vanilla Goat Milk Soap with ground vanilla bean swirl
this picture was taken right after I poured it in the mold. After the sopafication process the light creamy color has change to a nice light tan color. Smells delish. This is made with fragrance oil. 99.5% all natural.
Next I made Yuzu (japanese pear & mandarin) Goat Milk Soap with turmeric colored swril.
Picture taken after the pour. Unfortunately after the sopafication process my turmeric swril disappeared. I did not add enough turmeric to keep the color, but it smells really good. This is made with fragrance oil. 99.5% all natural
Then I made Sandalwood Apricot Kernel Soap colored with black walnut hull powder
Picture taken right after the pour. The color on this changed slightly darker, but a nice brown color with very tiny brown specks. Sandalwood is one of my personal favorites. Can't wait to use some of the soap scraps. This is made with fragrance oil. 99.5% all natural.
The last batch of soap I made was for Fall/Winter season.
Orange Cinnamon Apricot Kernel Soap colored with paprika
This is right after the pour. After the sopafication process the color turned slightly darker...nice color with tiny red paprika specks. BTW it's made with essential oils. 100% natural
New stuff in the works so check it out on the next blog entry.
Have a Great Day!
