Absinthe, also known as the "green fairy", is an anise-flavored alcoholic beverage, made from the distillation of various herbs. My absinthe soap does not contain this alcohol but, its scent is very similar. If you are not familiar with absinthe it's an aromatic blend of just the right combination of star anise, fennel, spicy cinnamon cassia, nutmeg, melissa, fresh green herbal notes, with base notes of amber and woods.
The colors in this soap have muted with curing so they are not quite as vibrant as in the picture.
Absinthe soap is made with rich moisturizing extra virgin olive oil and cocoa butter.
I would consider this fragrance to be unisex with definite, masculine appeal.
