Artisan Shaving Soap - Sheep Milk Formula
In my artisan shaving soap you will find the lather to be dense and very stable, not airy or full of large bubbles. The slickness and residual slickness are leaps and bounds better than the "old premium" version. Post shave, well how about no aftershave moisturizers if you don't want because my artisan shaving soap will give you excellent moisturization post-shave.
This shaving soap is more of a thirsty type of soap, but don't start with a super wet brush. Shake off the water after you soak your brush and then start building the lather in the jar. Once you've acquired enough soap in your brush go straight to your face or build the lather in your bowl adding water. Once you're able to dial the lather in you will achieve a super slick shave and a super slick post-shave to clean up any areas that were missed in the previous passes.
Once again a tallow based soap, but this time featuring locally sourced sheep milk from Cedar Creek Sheep Dairy. I also chose cocoa butter, mango butter, lanolin, and meadowfoam oil, bentonite clay and organic herbal extracts to complete this luxury shaving soap. All the butters and oils used are non-GMO and my palm stearic acid is sustainably sourced. I do understand that this shaving soap is much more expensive than the previous premium shave soap, but I have spared no expense with many of it's ingredients and my recipe is very complicated.

This is a different patchouli than I have smelled before. It's not your usual type, but obviously of a higher grade, The orange is in the background with a touch of oud & vanilla. This smells good!! As usual for her artisan line latherability is a cinch, lots of cushion and top notch glide. The clincher here is the beautiful melding of the patchouli, orange, oud & vanilla. Fantastic!!
I purchased the lavender and smoked black tea scented shaving soaps. Love both scents. Masterful blending with just the right amount of intensity IMO. I first tried the soap by building the lather in a bowl with a badger brush. This didn't work at all for me. I next tried starting the lather in the container and building the lather directly on the face. Hugh difference. Rich, creamy lather with top notch cushion and lubrication. Feels nourishing to the skin. The high quality of the ingredients is evident. Great products!
Lisa's Lavender sheep milk soap is really nice. Lathers great, super shave performance.
Thank you for making awesome shave soap! I love the Ouzoud and the Gentleman's Lavender, great lather and wonderful scents!! Please make an aftershave in Ouzoud. I could wear both as a cologne. Love it thank you!
Finally decided to put in an order for a few soaps and a couple shave soaps. Let me begin with the ease of doing business. Lisa's was very easy to buy from and shipped very quickly. The product arrived a couple days earlier than expected, which is always nice. Right? The soaps were the Orange / cream, the Cocoa / Banana and the Olive Oil. We started with the Orange Cream and as stated, smelled delicious. Yup, just like a 50 50 bar. The second one we tried is the Cocoa Banana. The aroma was interesting, but really nice. It felt great when lathering and left our skin feeling really moist. Loved it. I would absolutely give both soaps 5 stars. As for the Shave soaps, I purchased the Florida Freeze and the Coconut Oud. I've only tried the F. F. and though straight out of the tin it has a different aroma, once you lather it up it smells awesome. The shave ability is very smooth, definitely the best I've tried. Post shave is great too, feels cool and moist. Not chaffed and dry. All in all, totally thrilled with my purchase and can't wait to. try the coconut Oud and others.
